Notice of Requirement to Upgrade Hybrid VidyoRouters
VidyoConnect Customers Using Hybrid Components: It is mandatory that you contact Vidyo Support prior to February 3, 2019 so we can access your hybrid components and upgrade them in preparation for the February 3rd maintenance window. If you don't provide Vidyo with access prior to February 3rd, your hybrid component(s) will either fail to function with VidyoConnect Cloud or experience degraded video quality.

Infrastructure and Security Updates
During this maintenance window, Vidyo will implement some enhancements to improve our network performance, reliability, and scalability, as well as our system security.

Identified - Identified: Our team is confirming that EPIC integration AlphaNumeric workflows are unable to connect into a video session from the provider side

Unaffected workflows: Epic Contextual Awareness Linking integration (New)

An emergency maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, January 17th, between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00am UTC to update the system to address this issue.

Scheduled - In our continued effort to optimize your VidyoConnect experience, our team will be performing an emergency maintenance on the VidyoConnect Healthcare Edition (health.vidyoconnect.com) environment to resolve an issue with the Epic integration. You will experience a service interruption for approximately fifteen minutes during this time period.

What's New?
New VidyoPortal™ Version with TytoCare™ Integration
During this maintenance window, the VidyoConnect Healthcare Edition environment will be upgraded to version 18.4.0 of the VidyoPortal. This version includes the new TytoCare integration feature: TytoCare is a cloud-based telehealth solution that simulates a comprehensive physical examination using a portable WiFi-enabled diagnostic device. The Tyto device allows medical professionals to examine a patient at the Point of Care (POC) and broadcast the exam data to a remote clinician. When used in conjunction with the VidyoConnect™ for Desktop application, the remote clinician can virtually meet with the POC users via secure and reliable video conferencing. The integration enables the TytoCare solution to act as a robust extension of the remote clinicians’ diagnostic capabilities by allowing them to see and speak with patients while conducting virtual stethoscope, otoscope, skin, and other basic medical exams. Combined, the TytoCare Professional (TytoPro/TytoClinic) solution and the Vidyo telehealth solution provide a single cohesive workflow for telehealth providers. Note: To use the TytoCare feature, you must also have VidyoConnect for Desktop version 19.1.0, which is going to be released on Thursday, February 7th. We are providing you with this advance notice to better enable you to prepare for the release. Please forward this communication to the appropriate personnel within your organization.

To increase data security in the VidyoConnect Healthcare Edition environment, we are implementing some security and network enhancements during this maintenance window.

Our team is working to identify the root cause and implement a solution. Only users using Media Bridge recording are affected.
